I am Anne Coyle and I have known and trained with Kevin for a little over a year. I train with Kevin because I love soccer and know Kevin is the person who can help me be the best I can be.
To be honest, my first few lessons with Kevin felt a little awkward and embarrassing and I was worried that I wasn't good enough to train with a professional soccer player. Kevin had me do things that I considered very difficult and then suddenly I eased up and I wasn't embarrassed anymore. In fact, I was fine and even though he really challenged me, I realized that hey, this is fun! And I have improved!
Now I can see that all of Kevin's encouragement, comments and demonstrations on what to try really worked!
When I mess up, Kevin does not let it go until my next training session. Instead, Kevin encourages me and helps me out until I finally get it right, or least do better. Then he says "great work. I knew you could do it!" I love how Kevin always has me end a training session on a positive note because it makes me feel good.
One of the best things about Kevin is that he is so much fun to be around. He'll make jokes like "Are you ready for Freddy?" and " I've got the power!" Also, if you are lucky he will ride his unicycle for you. Or, if you are really, really lucky he will show you his bicycle kick!
I think my soccer skills have improved 100% by training with Kevin. My coaches have also noticed a big improvement. This spring, I was selected to play on my club's travel premiere team. Now, Kevin and I have a lot of new things to work on. I can't wait!

Kevin's enthusiastic and no nonsense approach to training has made a significant impact on the level of my 11 year old's play and his teammates too. His love of the game, and of the children he works with, is evident. We've been thrilled with Kevin's work and hope to continue training with him for a long time!

Kevin Sloan has done a tremendous job of running team practice session for LMSC teams. He has also earned a great reputation as someone who trains small groups of players or individual players who are looking for additional high level training beyond their team's commitments. Kevin's knowledge of the game as a player and his love of children have made him a great coach who has done great work with players at LMSC and elsewhere.

Kevin Sloan continues to bring out an even better player in me year after year. I have improved at a much faster rate of my fellow players for eight straight years enabling to reach my goal of playing for a highly ranked premier club team and being a strong high school player. Kevin's great work ethics and exceptional teaching techniques will inspire you to work your absolute hardest. Although he is an exceptional instructor, Kevin Sloan has always been more than just an ordinary trainer, mentor, or coach. He has gone beyond all expectations and has become one of my closest friends. The relationship that we have together is unlike any other I have had with any of my other coaches and trainers in any sport.
